Walk with Gaza

Phase 2 of the WwG project, we are currently raising funds to scale up our delivery of prosthetics to Palestinian refugees in Jordan.

Goal is to raise 50.000 $ to provide prosthetics for 100 patients.

Walk with Gaza: Restoring Mobility, Building Hope

Who’s Behind the Project

Walk with Gaza is a collaborative humanitarian initiative led by a dedicated group of individuals and organisations committed to restoring mobility and dignity to those affected by conflict.
Key partners include:

  • Rabee Naeem from RT3D, a Jordan-based prosthetics expert and long-term partner of Ugani. His team is central to patient care, production, and local training.

  • Wings of Healing ASBL, a Belgian non-profit supporting healthcare access in crisis-affected regions, providing logistical and fundraising support.

  • Dr. Ahmed Almoghrabi, a dedicated physician with deep ties to Palestinian refugee communities, helping identify patients and coordinate rehabilitation.

Together with Ugani Foundation, which supplies the 3D printing technology and training, these partners form the core engine driving this life-changing project forward.

Phase 1: Pilot in Amman, Jordan

In response to the complex situation in Gaza, the Walk with Gaza initiative began with a focused pilot in Amman, Jordan. Partnering with Rabee Naeem from RT3D, we provided free, high-quality prosthetic limbs to 10 Palestinian refugees from a nearby camp.

Each device was produced using Ugani’s advanced 3D technology and funded at €500 per unit by the WwG team. The entire process—from patient identification through production, fitting, and rehabilitation—was completed in just one month. Photos and videos from the project demonstrated the quality of care, paving the way for further fundraising and expansion.

Phase 2a: Scaling Up in Jordan

With over 1,000 amputees currently living in Jordan’s refugee camps, the next step is to scale our operations using the same proven model. This phase will allow us to reach far more patients efficiently and sustainably, using the infrastructure and team built during the pilot. Operational costs are expected to remain consistent, offering donors a clear and transparent budget.

Phase 2b: Remote Assistance for Gaza

To extend our reach into Gaza while maintaining the safety and efficiency of operations in Jordan, we are launching a remote care model. Gaza-based health workers will be trained in 3D scanning, allowing us to receive accurate digital models of each patient.

These scans will be used to design and produce custom prosthetics in Jordan, which can then be delivered to Gaza. This approach not only improves clinical outcomes and shortens lead times, but also creates jobs and builds long-term capacity within Gaza’s healthcare system.

As logistics and import routes remain uncertain, exact costs are hard to predict—but the price of each device remains as defined in our budget.

Phase 3: Regional Expansion – West Bank & Egypt

The final phase of the project aims to establish permanent prosthetic centers in the West Bank and Egypt, home to large communities of displaced individuals with limited access to prosthetic care.

By investing in equipment, infrastructure, and local training, these centers will deliver lasting healthcare solutions while serving as regional hubs. Should humanitarian access to Gaza improve, these locations will also enable rapid, multi-directional support to patients inside Gaza.

Our Long-Term Vision

At Ugani, we are committed to creating sustainable impact. By equipping local partners with our 3D printing systems and providing hands-on training, we ensure that high-quality, affordable prosthetics can continue to be produced long after our initial intervention.

We remain available to support our local partners as they grow their reach and impact across the region—together restoring mobility, dignity, and independence to thousands.
